FAQs

Do you take insurance?

Heart Bloom Therapy is not in-network with insurance companies. You will be provided with a statement each month that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to see if out-of-network benefits are included in your plan.

What are your rates?

Please call Heart Bloom Therapy to find out about rates. I accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards as forms of payment.

What Is A Good Faith Estimate?

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychological services.

You have the right to ask for and receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services at any time during treatment. For my private practice you will be informed about the fee for a session when you schedule your intial appointment. Most clients attend therapy once a week, however some clients attend less or more frequently, depending on their needs and circumstances. If you attend four sessions per month the amount billed for that month would be the session fee times four. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises/Ending-Surprise-Medical-Bills.

Do you provide teletherapy?

Yes. I’m licensed in the State of Colorado and can provide teletherapy if you live in Colorado, or in a state that participates in PSYPACT, the interstate jurisdictional psychology license that extends the ability to psychologists to provide services in other states. To find out if your state participates in PSYPACT please visit: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap.

Do you take Medicaid?

I am not in-network with Medicaid. Medicaid does not allow subscribers to see out-of-network providers. If you have Medicaid, please contact your plan for in-network providers.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
